"Electric Angel" By Mot & Krid
A bright and youthful new banger from Mot & Krid applies a unique and original sense of gothic rock that bleeds passion throughout its performance on all levels and from all sides.
The single reaches into some of the best aspects of a darkened and electronic riddled rock style and does so with a depth that makes everything feel fantastical.
"Electric Angel" has a way of building to something climactic but doesn't keep you waiting for long. What it does do is lure you into its arms with a deepened sonic sound and once you're there you have to stay so you can hear what the story entails.
The singer on this track does a beautiful job with a graceful performance that elevates the song's presents and passion levels and this is a big part of the actual allure on this release.
It is difficult not to become entranced by this one and there's a certain magic to it and it's production that makes it feel so epic which is amazing because sometimes that's what we're looking for and with this song, it's done right.
"Syd Duran, singer and co-writer on this tune, approached me about writing a dark, harder edge almost metal song. That direction inspired me to come up with a sort of dubstep bass line idea, halftime drum groove and main guitar riff, played by our friend Chris Vasquez. After I had those parts sorted, Syd and I got together and developed lyrics and melody. After recording lead and background vocals, I recorded more guitar parts and fills with my good friend Rick Zahariades." - Thomas Gallmeier (Mot & Krid)
