A Beautifully Vivid Ep Release From Jaye Madison
A wonderfully woven and honest EP release from Jaye Madison bears tons of soul in the vocal delivery along with some eclectic and intelligent songwriting that lets the release touch on different genres throughout its course while giving this almost cinematic undertone and allure that grabs at you.
The MIRROR: Framework EP gives you a strong acoustic backbone that grows into pop and Americana with lush and impactful choruses that feel like they were chapters in your own life.
These songs are very relatable and are performed with an incredible passion that wraps itself around you.
Madison is truly a gifted performer and songwriter as the songs really have a way of sticking with you for hours after they've ended.
The musicianship is gorgeous all over this release and you can tell that there is this energy that's captured on the record that allows you to sort of get washed away with everything.
There is a great impact that the EP had on me and I think it's because the songs felt like they all came from someplace so real and genuine that everything was very authentic to me.
It felt like these were songs that she had to get out and this was the only way she knew how.
I love songwriters like her because you can almost understand how songwriting for artists like this is cathartic.
It's also quite amazing that things could be performed instead lyrically on a song that are so difficult to even articulate into words when just speaking so to listen to songs like the ones on this record is intense.
Madison gets so descriptive that you're able to actually paint vivid pictures in your own head based on your own memories and thoughts.
I love when EP's are connective like that and this artist absolutely knows how to pull that off without a hitch and come off charming doing it.
The other great thing about this is it kind of lets you escape it to her life for a little bit as well which is also something I think good songwriters want to happen.
I think EP's like this one are meant for you to soak in so that you're not really thinking about your own personal surrounding world or environment for a moment.
It's escapism and some music is really great at that.
Madison tells stories with great attention to detail to the point where it's almost like you're reading a book and that is something to be a little bit in awe of honestly.
You also come out of this record wanting to go see her live because of the intensity in the energy of her performance on the recordings itself.
If you can capture an energy like this on a recording then to go see the starters perform live must be awesome.
This was a really well built and connective release that let her really shine as an artist.
The record is well worth your time and most likely more than a few playlists as well.
